Is Wasilah made for Muslims in Bangladesh?
Yes. Wasilah is built around Bangla rather than translated into it, with BDT Zakat calculation, local prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran, Hadith, duas and daily remembrance.
Does Wasilah include Quran and Hadith in Bangla?
Yes. Quran, Hadith, duas and the 99 Names of Allah all read in Arabic, English and Bangla in one place.
Does Wasilah teach how to pray?
Yes. There is a step-by-step Salah guide covering the full method of all five daily prayers and Witr, and a step-by-step Wudu guide, both in Bangla, Arabic and English.
Are the prayer times accurate for my area?
Yes. Times are worked out on your phone from your exact location, not fetched from a server, so they stay right even with no signal. The default method is University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi, which matches the Islamic Foundation times used across Bangladesh, and Asr follows the Hanafi position. Thirteen calculation methods and both Asr positions are there if you need to match your local mosque.
Does Wasilah work outside Bangladesh?
Yes. It is built Bangla-first for Bangladesh, but it carries 83,000 cities across 244 countries, so a Bengali family in Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur or London gets correct local prayer times too.
Which school of fiqh do the guides follow?
The Salah and Wudu guides follow the most widely followed practice in the Hanafi school, which is the school of most of Bangladesh. Where the other schools differ on a detail, the app says so rather than pretending there is one answer.
What is Wasilah Deen Intelligence?
It answers questions about salah, fasting, duas, the Quran and daily practice, with references to where the answer comes from. When a question needs a personal ruling it does not guess, it points you to a qualified scholar. Three questions a day, free for everyone. It needs an internet connection, unlike almost everything else in the app.
Can Wasilah calculate Zakat in BDT?
Yes. The Zakat calculator works in Bangladeshi Taka across cash, gold, savings, business assets and liabilities.
Does Wasilah work offline?
Yes. Prayer times, the Quran text, Hadith, duas, the 99 Names, both guides and the Zakat calculator all work with no connection. Two things need internet: Deen Intelligence, and Quran recitation audio when you play it.
Will Wasilah always be free?
Yes. Wasilah is sadaqah jariyah. Free to download and use, no ads, no sign-up, no paywall, and it will never be monetized.
